Fr. Tudor, and next to him a hieromonk of the monastery of Dervent, then Fr. Codruts, and Fr. Paul on the right at the Great Entrance during the Divine Liturgy for the Nativity of John the Baptist. Fr. Paul was experiencing the effects of the eight hour time difference and a sever headache from caffeine deprivation. He said nothing of this to anyone, but after the liturgy, the monks without being asked prepared a large french-press pot of delicious coffee for Fr. Paul and his companions. Fr. Tudor said that they did this because they had heard that Americans love coffee. The monks and their guests drink mostly tea, it seems. Posted by Picasa
